Shout
Shout is an information sharing tool for smal groups. It’s specially suited for sharing day-to-day information to teammates who aren’t working in the same office or for other reasons can’t be seen frequently enough. Shout enables users to share information like “I need two people to join me at the confrens next tuesday, who wants to come?”, “There’s a delivery waiting at the post, could somebody get it?” or “I just upgraded the server. Please report any problems directly to me”.
Shout is optimized to be as easy and fast use as possible. It utilitiez ajax techniques to provide smooth user experience. It’s much faster to use than email or conventional forums and it provides an easy way to track who has read the messages and who hasn’t.
Shout requires PHP and MySQL to use. It’s really easy to install, you just need to unpack the archive, edit settings.php and you’re set.
